The second “WomenIN Business and Leadership” conference explores resilience, influence, and the power of collaboration in times of global change

In a world marked by uncertainty, geopolitical tension, and rapid societal transformation, one question becomes increasingly important: who is shaping the future—and how can we do it better, together?
On the 17th of April in Koper, leading voices from across the region will come together at the second “WomenIN Business and Leadership” conference to explore exactly that.
Organised for the second consecutive year by the Slovenian PR agency Nord Communications Adria and the media platform Internationalis Slovenia, the event is quickly establishing itself as a leading regional platform for dialogue on leadership across business, media, diplomacy, and society.
This year’s theme focuses on resilience in the face of global risks and the growing influence of women in shaping meaningful societal change. Through inspiring discussions, speakers will share insights on how to lead with clarity, integrity, and vision in uncertain times—and how collaboration can drive more inclusive and sustainable outcomes.
At the same time, the conference emphasises that lasting progress is built through partnership. Meaningful leadership today requires cooperation between women and men—combining diverse perspectives, experiences, and strengths. Only through mutual respect, shared responsibility, and active collaboration can we create environments where innovation thrives and societies develop in a balanced and sustainable way.
Conference organiser Vanja Kavčić, CEO and Director for the International Cooperations Department at Nord Communications Adria, highlights the purpose of the event:

For the 2nd consecutive year, our regional team continues to build a platform on which the power of communication sets the path for knowledge exchange, professional growth and provides a unique experience promoting mutual support between women and men, the sense of togetherness—a message that “travels” across genders, generations, and most importantly across borders aiming to strengthen responsible and forward-looking leadership. The stage of WIB 2026 will be a place to share the best practices and advice for success, but WIB speakers will also highlight the importance of life and work balance. The event welcomes leaders, researchers, executives, entrepreneurs, students, media professionals, and all those ready to engage, contribute, and grow. It is an opportunity not only to listen, but to be part of a dynamic exchange of ideas and to build meaningful professional relationships that extend beyond borders,” concludes Kavčić.
