From September 18 to 21, Rovinj will once again become the epicenter of knowledge, inspiration, and unforgettable evening entertainment. While the days at Weekend.18 are reserved for lectures, panels, and discussions with leading global and regional experts, the nights are traditionally dedicated to fun. For years, Weekend has been known for its unique blend of business networking and top-notch music, with evening programs giving the festival its special energy.
Jazz Meets the Birthday Groove
The first night of the festival, on Thursday, September 18, brings a musical spectacle infused with jazz and funk. The audience will be warmed up by funk soul legend Tihomir Pop Asanović and friends, one of the most significant funk artists from this region. After him, DJ Stanko Bondža will celebrate Weekend’s 18th birthday with an energetic set marking nearly two decades of party culture.
Three Stages, One Unforgettable Experience
Friday is reserved for a true explosion of musical styles. DJ Uroš opens the night with a dynamic set, while the second stage delivers one of this year’s biggest surprises – a performance by global DJ star Jax Jones. The program, “WELCOME TO THE O-UNIVERSE,” is presented in collaboration with partners Omoda & Jaecoo, with DJ Jay Zimmermann also joining the stage. On the third stage, DJ Stanko Bondža returns once again, providing beats for those who want to dance until the early morning hours.
A Return to the Golden Nineties
The third day of the festival, on Saturday, September 20, begins with The Swingers, a band known for their modern sound and retro charm. After them comes perhaps the most anticipated part of this year’s program – the big 90’s party titled “Upss We Did the 90’s Party!”, organized by Ured za Ideje and Three Oh Two. The stage will be ruled by legendary names of the local pop scene – Tajči, Minea, Ilan Kabiljo, Vlatka Pokos, and Ivana Banfić – with DJ Stanko Bondža keeping the dance floor alive.

Weekend.18 once again confirms its uniqueness – offering top-quality content and inspiration during the day, while transforming into the region’s music hub at night. The festival provides visitors with an even richer experience, blending business and leisure, knowledge and fun, formal talks and spontaneous gatherings.
As the organizers emphasize: “In Rovinj, the best business conversations happen after midnight.” It is precisely this philosophy – erasing the boundaries between conference and festival – that makes Weekend such a unique event on the regional scene.
