The Slovenian-Chinese Business Council at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia hosted a high-level delegation from the China Economic Cooperation Center (CECC), an important national institution for promoting international economic cooperation, between 13 and 15 April 2025. The delegation was led by Mr. Ke Zhihong, President of the CECC, a long-standing high-ranking official with extensive experience in the field of foreign relations and economic development.
The main event of the visit was a business roundtable at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which took place on Monday, 14 April 2025. Slovenian companies from various fields participated in the event – from the automotive industry, biotechnology, software development and AI to smart energy and security solutions. The roundtable offered a platform for a concrete presentation of projects and opportunities for cooperation with Chinese partners, including companies developing software solutions, industrial drones and infrastructure for electric vehicles.
By organizing such events, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry strive to strengthen bilateral cooperation with selected Chinese institutions and open up concrete opportunities for Slovenian companies in the demanding but promising Chinese market.
