In a world shaken by uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and rapid social change, one question comes to the forefront: who shapes the future? The answer will be partly provided in Koper on 17 April by remarkable women at the second regional conference “WomenIN Business and Leadership.”

The event is organized for the second consecutive year by the Slovenian public relations agency Nord Communications Adria and the English-language media platform Internationalis Slovenia. The conference is becoming a recognized regional platform for discussing the role of women in business, media, diplomacy, and broader society.

This year’s central theme focuses on resilience to global risks and the influence of women in leading social change. Speakers will discuss how to maintain stability, vision, and ethical leadership in times of uncertainty, as well as how to build more inclusive and sustainable communities.

Conference organizer Vanja Kavčić, Editor-in-Chief of Internationalis Slovenia, emphasizes that the event goes beyond the traditional conference format:
One of the key values and messages of WIB 2026 is mutual support among women. We are building a regional platform for knowledge and experience exchange while connecting generations and countries in a joint effort toward more responsible and courageous leadership. The conference is intended for female leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, students, media representatives, and all who believe in the importance of cooperation, equality, and professional excellence. Special emphasis is placed on building strong professional networks that transcend national borders.

After the official program, a networking lunch will follow, allowing participants and speakers to connect directly, exchange experiences, and build new business and personal partnerships.

Through the symbolic gesture of free admission, the organizers aim to make the conference accessible to a wider audience and encourage open and inclusive dialogue about the future of leadership.

You are warmly invited to join us on 17 April at Grand Hotel Koper and become part of a community that believes that connection, knowledge, and courage are key to a sustainable future.

SECURE YOUR SPOT IN ADVANCE

Attendance at the conference is free of charge; however, access is possible only with a confirmed prior registration.
