Last year, the Slovenian-Chinese Business Council, among other things, co-organized three large economic delegations to China and hosted several high-level Chinese delegations.
This year, it is planning several different activities to support Slovenian companies in entering the Chinese market, and two delegations are planned, namely to Ningbo in May and to the CIIE fair in November.

At yesterday’s assembly of members, the work plan for 2025 was approved, within the framework of the Slovenian-Chinese Business Council, which will organize two major economic delegations, namely to Ningbo in May and to the CIIE fair in November, and organize a strategic assembly of members, a traditional business dinner, networking events and meetings with embassies and key Chinese institutions.
After the official part of the assembly of members, there was an event open to non-members as well, where the round table named “Views from China” was held. The discussion shed light on the key challenges and opportunities for Slovenian companies on the Chinese market and the importance of adapting to the dynamic business environment in Asia. The guest speakers at the round table were: Jerneja Čeligoj from BeeCool, Klemen Kous from Riko and Blaž Štefe from Elaphe. The moderator of the round table was Tinkara Godec.
