This year’s RogForum international conference will take place under the central theme “Borders and Friction.” The event aims to explore the tensions, intersections, and creative possibilities that arise when limits and opposing forces meet.
Through seven engaging panels, some of the most inspiring voices from around the world will discuss how design can manage, disrupt, or reshape boundaries, transforming friction into new opportunities. The discussions will focus on key questions: What happens when we shift boundaries? Are they obstacles or opportunities for better solutions in today’s world marked by polarization, the climate crisis, and technological change?
In addition to the main conference program, RogForum 2025 will feature two working groups and an accompanying program, offering numerous opportunities for networking and debate.
The conference is free of charge and open to all participants upon registration. It will be held in the Big Hall of Center Rog (1st floor). The event will open with an inaugural panel, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 17:00 in the Small Hall, followed by the opening of the RogExpo exhibition at 19:00.
The main conference program will continue on Thursday and Friday, November 13 and 14, 2025, bringing together experts, designers, and policymakers to exchange ideas on how design and dialogue can turn friction into forward-thinking solutions.
