“Resilience for me as an artist means staying deeply connected to my authentic essence while moving consciously through all the transformations life brings. It is living from the inside out — aligned with intuition, heart, mind, body, and soul — with trust, awareness, and presence IN FREEDOM OF CHOICE.
Looking back at when I first began exhibiting my art and where I stand today, my inner reason for creating has remained the same. I always gave my best through who I was in each moment and within the conditions life offered me. That became enough. Over time, I learned that resilience is not about hardness, but about staying connected to inner truth, creativity, humanity, and light through constant change. True resilience happens when body, mind, heart, and soul are in coherence — then life flows regardless of outer chaos, fear, or noise.
Through education, travel, artistic exploration, nature, elders, and lived experience, I began unlearning inherited fears, conditioning, and survival patterns. The strongest judge often lives inside us. Resilience begins by asking: who is running the dialogue when nobody else is speaking? Once we become conscious of that inner voice, we begin reclaiming freedom, presence, and authentic expression.
In today’s world shaped by technology, speed, and external validation, I believe mindful awareness and critical thinking are essential. Technology should serve life, not replace human essence or disconnect us from direct experience, nature, and each other.
Through photography, sound, light, intuition, and SILIAMMM immersive experiences, I create spaces of reflection and co-creation where people reconnect with their emotional truth, inner peace, and their unique light. “I am because you are.” Is for me basic what it means to be human.
TRAVELING
Traveling once felt like pure freedom — moving through the world with trust in people, life, and unexpected possibilities. Before COVID, travel carried less fear and control. Today, the atmosphere feels different: more tension, uncertainty, propaganda, and awareness of how fragile human rights can become under global crises.
As I grow older, my values and priorities are changing. I no longer seek only destinations but meaningful encounters, nature, peace, and authentic human connection. Traveling has become less about escaping and more about sensing where humanity, trust, and inner freedom still exist.
As a Slovenian, through traveling, I can confirm that we have a very strong passport and are accepted almost everywhere as a nation with open hearts. Compared to the standard of living in many other countries, I feel Slovenia offers one of the best balances — especially when we compare how much we work with what we can have. In many other countries, the situation is quite different.
ART & AI — A SHARP STATEMENT
AI can imitate style, composition, color, and emotion, but it cannot replace human consciousness, lived experience, intuition, or soul, but might have already it sown governeance that humans are not aware of and definitely not understanding it. A machine does not yet know human grief, silence, prayer, birth, love, nature, sacrifice, or human transformation — it only reorganizes existing human memory into highly precise patterns that can appear astonishingly real. Yet humans already, from birth, experience much of this intelligence subconsciously through intuition, feeling, energetic awareness, and direct connection with life itself. The real danger is not that AI creates art, but that humanity forgets the difference between generated stimulation and authentic creation. When culture becomes dominated by algorithmically optimized aesthetics, it risks becoming emotionally flattened, standardized, and disconnected from genuine human experience. Perfect is not alive. True art carries imperfection, memory, spirit, contradiction, and the invisible resonance of someone who has deeply lived. Conscious artists may use AI as a tool, but never as a replacement for perception, inner vision, or relationship with life. The future of art will not be decided by machines, but by whether humans still remember how to truly feel, observe, imagine, and create beyond the algorithm.
The Role of the Artist
The role of the artist is not to give answers, but to protect the space where humanity still dares to ask essential questions. In a time increasingly shaped by algorithms, speed, consumption, and digital dependency, art must remind us to pause and reflect: What are we truly creating, and what is quietly being exchanged in return? As AI depends on endless data, energy, minerals, land, and water — the very source of life — then who or what are we ultimately serving? Are we building technologies that deepen human consciousness, freedom, compassion, and harmony with nature, or are we slowly reorganizing life itself around the needs of systems we no longer fully question? The artist’s responsibility may not be to reject progress, but to hold a mirror to it — to evoke awareness before convenience becomes unconscious surrender. Not through fear, but through reflection. Not through ideology, but through humanity itself. Because there is no free lunch, every choice carries a cost, every system shapes perception, and every generation must decide what it is willing to trade for comfort, efficiency, and control. I do not claim to know the future. I only believe that water, nature, sovereignty, soul, and the dignity of conscious human life must remain part of the conversation and sovereign governance before we call anything truly sustainable or evolved.

About the artist:
Alenka SLAVINEC is a Slovenian interdisciplinary artist, visual storyteller, photographer, filmmaker, and researcher of consciousness whose work explores the relationship between humanity, nature, memory, and the invisible emotional and energetic fields shaping human experience. She holds the official status of an independent artist at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and is internationally recognized as an ambassador of the Lipizzaner horse.
Born in Ptuj, one of Europe’s oldest cities, her artistic language is deeply connected to nature, ritual heritage, and cultures that preserve a profound relationship with the Earth. She graduated in Marketing Communications at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana (FDV), and continued her education in film production at the New York Film Academy.
Alenka’s interdisciplinary practice combines photography, conceptual art, film, immersive installations, unique authorial sound, and cultural diplomacy. Her works and exhibitions have been presented internationally in more than thirteen countries, including Japan, China, India, Egypt, Kuwait, Argentina, the United States, and across Europe, at platforms such as Expo Milano 2015, Expo Dubai 2021, Expo Osaka 2025, Museum of Modern Art Kuwait, Vittoriano Roma, Purana Qila New Delhi, and Jakopič Promenade Ljubljana.
Alenka’s artistic work unfolds through four conceptual platforms. HORSE-DIGNITY-HUMANITY explores the relationship between humans, horses, and freedom through projects with Lipica Stud Farm, including LOVE IN US and SLOVENIA IN US Lipizzaner Horse by Alenka SLAVINEC. WAKE UP CALL addresses environmental and humanitarian issues, collective responsibility, and awareness through art.
