Hello, Internationalis Slovenia calling.
Did you know that the Palace Hotel in Portorož was opened on August 20, 1910? At that time, it was one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic, with 175 rooms, event halls, a terrace, reading rooms, and was directly connected to the spa complex, swimming pool, and mud bath facilities. A large sandy beach was arranged in front of the hotel, and guests could ride a trolleybus between Piran, Portorož, and Lucija on the first such line in the Balkans, which operated for two years until it was replaced by a tram in 1912.*
As Summer enters its Golden Finale in August, The International event team remembers the 1st Regional WomenIN Business Conference organized on April 4th this year at the Kempinski Palace hotel in Portorož.
During one of the first sunny spring weekends in 2025, this astonishing hotel was the perfect venue for what is now becoming a traditional, annual business gathering that aims to praise exceptional, regional women leaders from various industries that make the change in the gender imbalanced business arena and serve as role models for us who live, work and create in present days but also for young women of the future.

Save the Date at the beginning of April 2026 and expect your personal “The International WomenIN Business Regional Conference” invitation in your inbox!
