On Wednesday, June 17th U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana and AmCham Slovenia hosted a memorable celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States in one of Ljubljana’s best outdoor event venues, Križanke. The reception was attended by an impressive number of partners, friends, and representatives of the Slovenian-American community, followed by several meetings at a high state level, which were organized on the margins of the reception.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the address by the U.S. Ambassador H.E. Asel Roberts, who spoke in Slovenian and described the warm connection she has already developed with Slovenia.
