Slovenia must revive the values ​​of work, development, success, and an efficient state.

About the conference

This year’s Slovenian Economy Summit will be dedicated to the future economic development of Slovenia in a time of rapid geopolitical, economic, and security changes. As a distinctly export-oriented economy, Slovenia must clearly decide how it will position itself in the international environment, what economic policy and business environment Slovenia will build, and which industries to promote. At the same time, Slovenia must revive the values ​​that promote work, development, success, and an efficient state.

In the first part of this year’s summit, a manifesto of commitments for Slovenia will be presented, on which Slovenia should build its future, and with which the place of the economy will be restored in Slovenian society.

In the second, plenary part, the participants will talk about the geopolitical situation in the world and the economic situation of Slovenia, and present to the public a new program for the future development of the Slovenian economy until 2035.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia will discuss all of this at the summit with the President of the Republic, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar, foreign guests, among whom the world-renowned professor of economics and analyst Jeffrey Sachs and Dr. Frank Niederländer, Vice President for Government Affairs for Europe at the BMW Group, who will play a central role, as well as leading Slovenian business leaders. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Robert Golob, will also attend, as will numerous ministers and political representatives.
